The Longest Climate

Community Table

A program of NYCNext. Earth Gives is excited to utilize this program to gather people with fingers, sporks, forks, chopsticks and spoons over all things eco kindness.

Earth Gives knows that the key to climate action is through connection - to people, information, and resources. Our version of The Longest Table is to add a few new ingredients.

  • Neighbors come together for a shared meal - we hope to inspire planetarian dishes!
  • Rotating conversations kicked off by environmental nonprofits that might have expertise in food, health, agriculture, composting, oceans, toxics, water and much more
  • Inspired generosity to volunteer and give to 501c3s that advance the important solutions needed - and to be championed by each one of us.

These gatherings are powered by partnerships in each host city and designed to take place in the lead-up to—or during—Earth Gives’ national giving campaign each fall. This campaign invites people across the country to support and engage with nonprofits advancing climate solutions, conservation, wildlife protection, environmental advocacy, justice, national parks, oceans, education, and more.

By adapting this joyful, community-centered experience, Earth Gives helps turn connection into momentum — inspiring grassroots climate action, strengthening local networks, and making it easy for individuals to participate in building a healthier, more resilient future.

You are invited to sponsor and partner with us to host The Longest Climate Community Table - in your city, in NYC during Climate Week, your own climate week, and elsewhere.

Note: A portion of the sponsorship funding will support 501c3s we invite to partner on each program.

The Longest Climate Community Table NYC is tentatively set for September 23, 2026 during NY Climate Week.
