Acerca de esta organización
Buffalo Nations Grasslands Alliance (BNGA) is a Native-led 501(c)(3) non-profit organization collaborating with a broad coalition of partners to support conservation and sustainable livelihoods in the 16 Native Nations in the Northern Great Plains (NGP) ecoregion. BNGA has a growing track record of supporting Native Nations in the NGP through grant-funded conservation, outreach, and capacity-building initiatives. Since our inception, BNGA has prioritized developing partnerships and bringing together Native Nations, government agencies, and non-government organizations working in the NGP ecoregion. By partnering with agencies and organizations that have established grassland restoration programs, BNGA provides support to Tribal wildlife programs through grant-funded projects. BNGA has secured and managed funding from major partners such as the World Wildlife Fund, First Nations Development Institute, National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, private philanthropic organizations, and others.
