The Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group (ESRAG) empowers Rotary members to take action on the triple planetary crises: biodiversity loss, climate change, and pollution. ESRAG supports activities and projects that protect ecosystems, cut emissions, and build resilient communities by providing tools, knowledge, and a global network. Its work aligns with Rotary's areas of focus and promotes practical, scalable solutions through six themes: Biodiversity, Climate, Food Systems, Circular Economy, Pollution, and Sustainable Living. These interconnected themes reflect key areas of environmental stewardship. For example, pollinator gardens support both Biodiversity and Food Systems, while Circular Economy efforts reduce Pollution and foster Sustainable Living. Promoting energy efficiency and renewables helps mitigate climate change while easing pressure on ecosystems. Together, these actions address the triple planetary crisis: climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution.
