We are a Native-woman led nonprofit organization serving the Greater Berks County community in Pennsylvania. Widoktadwen Center for Native Knowledge is the first and only Urban Indian Center in Berks County, providing opportunities for community engagement, public health education, and environmental stewardship. We're also restoring food sovereignty to our Urban Native community and providing avenues to access to intertribal cultural knowledge. Our center delivers educational programs to school groups. libraries, museums, and historical societies, as well as professional development for educators teaching about Indigenous peoples and environmental studies. Widoktadwen Center for Native Knowledge also stewards an Indigenous Little Free Library in downtown Reading, PA.
