Clean Memphis

Transforming systems for a resilient future.

Clean Memphis drives environmental sustainability by turning intention into action through hands-on education, waste reduction initiatives, and collaborative partnerships that transform waste into resources – building a cleaner, more resilient Memphis for all.

We bridge education, policy, and practical solutions to reduce waste, strengthen local food systems, and build climate resilience across the Mid-South. Our programs don’t just teach sustainability – they model it, scale it, and make it accessible for all.

Our Programs:

Project Green Fork - Helping food businesses, foodservice providers, and event partners reduce waste, support the environment, and redirect wholesome, surplus food to local community organizations.

Sustainable Schools - Equipping the next generation with the knowledge and skills needed to become environmental stewards. Students learn to investigate challenges, brainstorm solutions, and take actions, building confidence, curiosity, and civic responsibility.

Community Engagement - Working alongside residents, local partners, and civic leaders to reduce litter, increase access to recycling, and foster community-led beautification projects.
