ClimateVoice mobilizes employees inside major corporations to push their companies into the climate policy fight. We activate employees, engage executives, and shine the media spotlight to galvanize climate policy action, unlocking corporate political power.

To decarbonize at the speed and scale required to address the climate crisis, we need bold public policy to accelerate change. Corporations play a huge role in policy action – or inaction. So far an 2026, with our employee advocates leading the charge we have had big wins, including:

Passing Plug-In Solar Bills in 10 states:
ClimateVoice championed plug-in solar as an innovative state policy, creating our Policy Brief to highlight how to take action supporting Plug-In Solar bills and activating employees and the business community to support active legislation at the state level. Ten states have now passed plug-in solar legislation, with many other states still reviewing bills, including California and Massachusetts.

Greening 401(ks) by the Billions:
At Google, employee advocates spearheaded a campaign – with financial analysis and an employee petition with 1000+ signatures – to successfully advocate for a fossil free retirement option. Now, these employee advocate leaders are sharing their experience to help jumpstart fossil free 401(k) efforts at other large, powerful companies.

Convening our first in-person Employee Influence Retreat:
This summer, we hosted our first in person employee climate action retreat focused on three key elements of influence: systems thinking, coalition building, and collective action. We convened employees from 9 companies, across the automotive, consulting, financial services and tech industries, to explore how they could hone their influence skills to be more effective climate advocates. Following our retreat with employee advocates, we are working closely with employees across key hyperscaler companies to advocate for AI and data center guardrails.
