The Southeast Climate and Energy Network (SCEN) envisions the southeastern United States as a leading region for just, equitable, and inclusive solutions to the climate crisis. Our mission is to confront the climate crisis by creating strategic alignment, growing capacity, and building power among member organizations and their communities in the Southeast. SCEN believes in the effectiveness of local organizations collaborating with a common vision and broad partnerships to bring about equitable and sustainable energy systems. The network aims to leverage collective power to provide leadership, training, funding, and rapid response to threats, fostering a powerful, inclusive, diverse, and interconnected Southeastern climate movement. Our ultimate goal is to strengthen capabilities and enable organizations to maximize impacts at a local and regional level, contributing to the development of healthy, resilient, and vibrant communities.
