Campus Climate Network

About Us

Campus Climate Network (CCN) is a youth-led organization stewarding a rising generation of student organizers to become the backbone of the movement for a just and livable future. Our network is made up of dozens of student groups  across the US running campus-based campaigns. CCN equips student leaders with hard organizing skills, political education, and tools for emotional resilience in the face of crisis that enable them to build durable power on and off campus. We strengthen the connective tissue of the student movement, linking organizers across campuses and key regions into a united force that will shape movement culture and strategy for the long haul. 

Since 2022, CCN has engaged with thousands of student climate organizers from over 100 campuses. We’ve supported numerous winning campaigns including for fossil fuel divestment, fossil free research, campus decarbonization, and the rejection of authoritarian overarch.  We provide students with the training, resources, and connections they need to run winning campaigns on campus and become the next generation of climate justice leaders. 

When students win campaigns at their universities demanding divestment from fossil fuels, campus decarbonization, or resistance against authoritarian pressures, other civil society institutions follow suit. When students demonstrate the courage necessary to demand a better future, the general population is inspired as well, making change at the state and national level that once seemed impossible, possible.
