Turn your sustainability values into visible action. Through a nationwide giving campaign and this year-round engagement platform, companies can inspire employees, customers, clients, and partners to come together around causes that strengthen communities, protect natural resources, and advance environmental solutions.

When your company supports cleaner air and water, healthier communities, renewable energy, National Parks, conservation, and innovative solutions, you are helping shape the future that people - your people - want to live in. It also reinforces a culture of stewardship, connection, and shared purpose.

Why Partner with Earth Gives and its Nationwide Campaign

Strengthen Your Brand
Show customers, employees, and communities that your company invests in an entire ecosystem of environmental organizations and their solutions. Your free profile group or team giving page can tell your story, showcase your teams, be used to challenge other businesses to join you and so much more.

Team Play - Engage Employees, Clients and Customers
Today’s workforce wants purpose. Invite your team to give, volunteer, learn, and participate together. This national platform allows you to engage different offices from across the U.S. or the globe in a friendly team v. team competition. Let the teams get creative with their pages. Tell the story of each location. Consider matching the funds they raise up to whatever amount you are comfortable with.

Small businesses can rally customers to donate for an organization local to their community. Put QR codes directing your customers to your page to give. Share it on your communications platforms. Get creative. Offer a free give-away to one of your donors. Offer customers 10% off every purchase for every $10 they donate through your page. (Earth Gives does lead into the holiday season, so build up your sustainable customer base.)

Eco Reporting and Storytelling
Download the data, use it in your impact in reports, communiques and to showcase your impact to your community. Your teams can join live virtual learning programs (Power Plays) presented by participating nonprofits and utilize them to build knowledge and inspire action. (See events page.)

Ways Your Business Can Participate - for the campaign & beyond

Create a company giving page. It's free and takes just a few minutes to set up. Choose nonprofits you align with, or leave it open for your community to choose their own. If your company has nonprofits you team up with already, invite them to sign up for the giving day and support them through the campaign, for #GivingTuesday, again for the end of the year, or even next year's Earth Month.
Matching Gifts. Make additional giving possible. Offer matches to donations made through your group or a team giving page. Be as generous as you'd like or have a ceiling for the matches. Earn exposure by offering match dollars directly to Earth Gives. For example, if you contribute $1,000 in match funds directly to Earth Gives, we will promote it to both the nonprofits to share to their communities and through general promotions. The $1,000 can be divided into 10 $100 matches, 20 $50 matches, or into smaller increments. It all inspires generosity.
Branded Employee Giving or Cause Campaigns. Apart from the Earth Gives "giving day campaign", you can use your existing page or set up one to celebrate a milestone , an event, or to raise funds on key environmental days throughout the year. Want to rally for trees? We can gather tree organizations across the U.S. to support your interests. Is renewable energy or food systems your thing? We can rally them, too.
Team Volunteer Opportunities. If there is a specific issue are you care about, Earth Gives can direct you to organizations that might be willing to set up volunteer projects for you. Let us know your interests.
Sponsorship Opportunities. Please visit our sponsorship page for more information or email us at Rhonda@earthgives.org.

Why Earth Gives Is Different

Only 2% of philanthropy goes to climate and environmental causes. It's not enough to scale the solutions so desperately needed now. Businesses big and small can help close the gap while making giving easy through a one-stop platform. Earth Gives works to harness individual giving and engagement with hopes to inspire individuals to take additional actions beyond their generosity here.

Doing the same for employees throughout companies is accretive to our efforts.

Collective efforts compound interest!
