Make an Impact—Your Way

Each of us has the power to help shape a healthier, safer, and more connected future. The choices we make, the causes we champion, and the people we invite into action all matter. Together, our collective actions can protect the places we love, strengthen our communities, safeguard wildlife and natural spaces, and help create a thriving future for generations to come.

We're excited that you're here, exploring additional ways you can take steps that help environmental nonprofits in your community or ones that serve people across the globe.

How You Can Get Involved

Support a Cause: Explore and discover nonprofits working toward a better planet. Choose a mission that resonates with you and contribute directly to their work.

Share & Inspire: Help spread awareness. Share the "profile page" of one or many of the nonprofits featured on this platform. It's super easy to post it on your socials, or text the URL to friends, family, and your network. Have a coffee conversation and invite everyone to join you in giving.

Start a Fundraiser: Take your impact to the next level by creating your own fundraiser. It’s free, easy to set up, and fun to share. Follow the simple steps just below.

Variations of the "fundraiser" are available for companies, including Group Giving, Team Giving, or setting it up an Event. Whether you want to participate in the giving campaign, #GivingTuesday, end of year, or another time throughout the year, remember these free options. While we hope that you set up your page to promote a climate of generosity from September 14 to October 6, you can also use this platform as a way to celebration a birthday, honoring someone you love, a corporate milestone, or simply rallying your community around a cause you care about.

Create Your Own Fundraiser

Becoming a friend and fundraiser is one of the most powerful ways to make a difference. When you invite others to give, you multiply your impact and help nonprofits reach new supporters. Doing so through a giving day platform is simple. It's free and takes about 10 minutes. Get started:

Choose a nonprofit you want to raise money for. (On the home page, go to search and put in a nonprofit you want to help. Or, click on the "fundraise" button off the home page and follow the prompts.)
If you're starting from a nonprofit's profile page, right next to their logo, click on the "fundraiser" button. Follow the prompts.
Set up your page by starting with a fun name you want to give to it. Upload a meaningful image - it could be you out hiking or working in a garden or some other appropriate photo. Share a story about why the organization and its work matters to you.
Publish your fundraiser (You can always go back and edit it, too.)
Share it widely as soon as you set it up. Inspire others to give. Copy your URL and share it in all ways possible: Socials, text, emails. Offer a match if you'd like. Do a little video to go along with the link inviting contributions. (Thank yous are automated.)

The more you share, the greater your impact. Every donation you inspire helps support critical environmental work—and may even help your chosen nonprofit receive additional "Prize Funds" for rallying the most donors or dollars based on their budget size. All of your donors will be automatically thanked. And you can download the list of donors and thank them through a personal message.
