Earth Gives is rooted in the belief that when people come together around shared values and shared care for this special planet we call home, meaningful change happens. We're excited that you're here, exploring additional ways you can take steps that help environmental nonprofits in your community or ones that serve the globe. They need our support to protect our water, food, soil, national parks, clean energy sources, and advance solutions that protect what is most precious to all of us.

How You Can Get Involved

Support a Cause: Explore and discover nonprofits working toward a better planet. Choose a mission that resonates with you and contribute directly to their work.

Share & Inspire: Use your voice to spread awareness. Share a "profile" of one or many of the nonprofits featured on this platform. It's super easy to post it on your socials, or text the URL to friends, family, and your network. Have a coffee conversation and invite everyone to join you in giving. 

Start a Fundraiser: Take your impact even further by creating your own fundraiser. It’s free, easy to set up, and usually takes just 5–10 minutes. Personalize your page with photos, a message, and your own story about why this organization — and the issues it works to address — matter to you.

Then invite others to be part of the impact by sharing your fundraiser throughout the Earth Gives campaign and beyond. You can also put it to work for special events, including a birthday, honoring someone you love, marking a milestone, or simply rallying your community around a cause you care about, your voice and personal connection can inspire others to give and get involved.

Create Your Own Fundraiser

Becoming a fundraiser is one of the most powerful ways to make a difference. When you invite others to give, you multiply your impact and help nonprofits reach new supporters. Get started in a few simple steps:

1. Choose a nonprofit you want to raise money for and share with your community. 
2. Click on the "fundraiser" button on their profile and follow the prompts.
3. Set up your page by naming your page in a fun way. Upload a meaningful image - it could be you out hiking or working in a garden or some other appropriate photo. Share a story about why this organization and its work matters to you. 
4. Publish your fundraiser (You can go back and edit it too.)
5. Share it widely to inspire others to give. Copy the URL and share it in all ways possible. 

The more you share, the greater your impact. Every donation you inspire helps support critical environmental work—and may even help your chosen nonprofit receive additional "Prize Funds" for rallying the most donors or dollars based on their budget size.
