How Organizations with Chapters or Affiliates Can Leverage the Platform
If your nonprofit has chapters, regional affiliates, or field offices, the Earth Gives platform can be utilized in the following ways:

- Encourage chapters to create peer-to-peer fundraisers under the main organization

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is eligible?
Environmental, climate, and justice-focused 501(c)(3) nonprofits with a presence in the U.S. may apply to participate. Fiscally-sponsored groups are also welcome.
Is there a registration fee?
Yes. To offset some of the expenses Earth Gives invests in the platform and campaign infrastructure, an annual registration fee applies based on budget size. Fees may also be modified based on early-bird offerings and during our platform upgrades in early 2026. (Typically, fees may range from $50-$150.)
Will we receive donor information?
Yes. Participating nonprofits have full access to donor data, peer fundraiser insights, and volunteer interest information within their nonprofit portal. It can be downloaded at any time throughout your participation.
When are donations distributed?
Donations are distributed through the MightyCause Foundation in two week timeframes using EFT, or by check, if requested, one time a month and includes a $5 processing fee. Distribution timelines are outlined in detail in the Terms of Service.
Are we automatically included in GivingTuesday?
Yes. Approved Earth Gives participants are automatically eligible to fundraise through GivingTuesday or to use it throughout the year.
