Portland All Nations Canoe Family (PANCF) is requesting support to establish our dream of a Kinship house! A Kinship house is a community led space for celebrating Indigenous people, share canoe culture, indigenous values, and community knowledge.
This project will create a home for our Canoe Family and our community. This space will bring together multiple facets of our work for all to share. We are seeking funding to assist with the down payment of this space. PANCF would like to own our new space within the Portland Area to work on Land stewardship, practice Indigenous Ecological Knowledge, house our traditional canoes, and accommodate staff. We would also be thrilled to have a few bathrooms. Please help us make this dream a reality!
