A majority of people – between 80 and 89% globally – think climate change is a serious problem and want to see more action to remedy it, but they need support and guidance to find their way.

By weaving together three storytelling and informational initiatives – a podcast, an encyclopedia, and an e-book – Climate Junction provides access to educational and community-building resources that help inspire and inform climate action.

Our projects:

(1) Gen Climate Speaks – A podcast series designed and produced by youth, exploring conversations with changemakers about barriers and pathways to climate action.

(2) Ecopsychepedia – An open-access encyclopedia providing concise, reliable articles on topics intersecting the climate crisis, mental health, and justice – and describing tangible pathways to action.

(3) Climate and Your Mind – An e-book curating multidisciplinary perspectives from renowned thinkers, authors, scientists, and health practitioners, sharing professional accounts & personal stories.

How will my donation help?

  • Scale and amplify our youth-led podcast – give young people a platform to tell their stories, build intergenerational relationships with field experts, and develop professional podcasting and production skills.
  • Enable our Summer Internship/Fellowship Program – cultivate the next generation of climate leaders by supporting our leadership initiative designed to empower early-career professionals by offering paid summer fellowships, expert mentorship, and specialized training.
  • Improve our resources and their impact – support collaborations to adapt and tailor our resources for specific audiences and climate-impacted communities and help us build meaningful partnerships to connect our work with the people who need it.
  • Support the human-power behind our resources – support the curators, editors, and fact-checkers behind our encyclopedia and e-book to make sure they remain reliable, verifiable, and up-to-date.
