Local Climate Action Now!

I have lived in South Carolina at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains my whole life. That beautiful skyline is such a welcoming and comforting sight. I love this area: for its people, its fauna, its flora, and the wonderful home it provides for all of us.

It's a frustrating and sobering reality that things I hold dear (such as the image above) are threatened by the effects and impacts of global climate change. Decisions being made for profit over protection seem like daily occurrences. What are we able to do?

Working for Run On Climate has shown me hope. There are victories being made. There are champions fighting for our environment. And there are far more of these victories and champions than I realized. The best part is that this is all happening at the local level.

Run On Climate has helped cut climate pollution in over 50 communities by a total of ~10 Million Tons (equal to the energy use of over 1 Million homes for a year) and we plan to scale up our impact further from here.

Please help us continue to pass and implement bold climate policies in cities across the U.S., while training up the next generation of climate leaders (we've hosted over 250 interns and fellows to date!) for a lifetime of impact. We appreciate any donation you're able to provide, no matter the size.

This is a critical time. There is a lot of work to be done, but everyone can play their part, no matter how small.

Consider what your equivalent is to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Let's join together in the fight to preserve that.

Thank you!
