When I was a student at NYU, I led a campaign to get my university to stop investing in fossil fuels. My classmates and I believed that our university should be preparing us for the future, not sending our tuition dollars to the oil companies responsible for destroying it. My senior year, we won full divestment, meaning that NYU will no longer give money to oil, gas, and coal companies.
Since then, I've been supporting student activists around the country to not only fight for climate action on their own campus but to develop the leadership skills to stay engaged in this fight for the rest of their lives. Our work shows that when you invest in student leaders early, they can go on to win state and national-level climate policy in the future.
If you support the work I'm doing and have been looking for a way to act on the climate crisis, this is your chance to step in. Donate today.
$20 pays for a meal at a campus training.
$100 pays for supplies for a student protest.
$500 pays for experienced organizer to go support students on campus.
$1,000 pays for a semesterly stipend for one of our volunteers.

Dona hoy.
