Help Anna help CCN power the student movement!!

Hi good people and loved ones!! Campus Climate Network is not only the place where I work as a Student Organizing Coaching Coordinator, but it is also the place (and the people) that taught me what it means to run transformative and winning campaigns for social and climate justice. And right now, we need donations to help us keep training, coaching, and supporting students to power the student movement for today + years to come!

I always tell people that I learned how to organize "backwards," by which I mean, I had no education in organizing before I began. As is the case with most people who have organized at one point or another, we were building the plane as we flew it!

It wasn't until I met Alicia, from Campus Climate Network, that that began to change for me. Alicia, who is the managing director and who helped lead a winning divestment campaign at NYU, took an hour long coaching call with me before she knew who I was or what organization I was a part of. She just knew I was a student who was trying to make a change on my campus and that was enough for her to care about me and invest in me. 

Over the past three years, CCN has given me the organizing education that I needed from the beginning. They flew out experienced campus organizers to come to our campus to train our small team in organizing skills and strategy, they funded our campus-wide intersectional climate organizing event, they flew me out to Philadelphia for a weekend-long Training for Change intensive, and, perhaps most importantly, they connected me to a community of people committed to organizing for care and justice, on campus and beyond. 

Right now, CCN is looking to expand our grassroots fundraising so that we can continue to run the unique and transformative student organizing programs that I had the privilege of being a part of.
