We're Nell and Kevin - BFC's media coordinators for the 2025/2026 winter season. 

Our work with BFC began in June 2024, when we stumbled into the opportunity to film a Gathering of Nations that BFC hosted at their campaign headquarters. 

That ceremony, honoring the arrival of Wakan Gli (the white Buffalo calf born to the Yellowstone herds), changed our lives forever. It cemented for us the incredible injustice of denying Buffalo Nations' sovereignty and relationship to a species sacred to them in so many ways. 

We knew we had to do more to support BFC's work. This organization stands as an ally to Tribes, promotes Tribal sovereignty and stewardship, and defends our nation's last wild migratory Bison on the ground, in real time. 

That's what led us here. We hope the photos in our banner illustrate, in part, what makes this organization special to us.
