Webinar presentation on marketing and messaging for early giving, Earth Gives Day, and a first look at the toolkit offered to participating nonprofits.

Mid-August

Have your profile maximized! Engage volunteers, board members and friends through setting up fundraising pages. It takes just 5-10 minutes. If you'd like, host a "peer-to-peer" webinar or add a short talk onto a standing meeting to show how quick and easy fundraising pages are to set up and share with their own families and friends. You can literally have everyone get them set up right on the spot.

August 15

Are you ready to promote your participation in Earth Gives Day? If you have not yet rallied friends, family, staff, board members and vendors to set up Peer-to-Peer fundraisers, now is the time to do that. The Earth Gives Day toolkit should have copy and strategy for you to reach out, recruit and keep people engaged throughout the 26 days of giving.

August 23

Don't wait to the last day to register for Earth Gives Day 2024. Submit your registration to participate long before this and have your social posts, content and a bit of strategy ready to go post Labor Day. Once Approved, your profile will be visible in search results. It's encouraged to have your profile "donor ready" as giving day promotion may begin around to this time.

Begin sharing Earth Gives promotions for the four "Power Hour" programs! Register someone on your team to be there as well! (All four program registrations will be open for registration. These programs deliver actionable insight for the public and are planned for Sept 10, 16, 24, 30.)

September 6

Early giving begins - Donations can now be received. Consider "day one" incentives to inspire people to be your FIRST.

September 10

Power Hour - More coming soon (These are open to the public, presented by a nonprofit, include university students to facilitate breakouts to reinforce action.) (Special thanks to Eco-Cycle and Suzanne Jones for presenting the 2023 Power Hour program on circularity, zero waste and recycling.)
