Once a nonprofit is approved, the profile will be visible and individuals and nonprofits can set up free peer-to-peer fundraisers.

July 17 - Nonprofit Fundraising Webinar

This webinar jumps into Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Fundraising on behalf of your organization! Includes step-by-step guide to set up fundraisers.

August 8 - Nonprofit Marketing Webinar

This live webinar presentation on marketing and messaging for the 30+ day campaign offers tips and a first look at the Marketing Toolkit offered to participating nonprofits. Webinar begins at 9 a.m. PST.

August 22 - Nonprofit Registration Closes

Nonprofit registration closes. Your nonprofit must be through the 2-step registration process to be able to participate in the campaign. You will still have time to refine your profile and have it "donor ready" for the kick off on September 5.

September 5 - Early Giving Begins!

Early giving begins - Donations can now be received. Volunteers can be recruited. Put your marketing toolkit into action.

Power Hour #1 - Fashion Circularity featuring Know Your Clothing and Accelerating Circularity. These programs are open to the public and filled with actionable insights teams and individuals can put into practice. The fashion and textile industry is responsible for up to 10% of global carbon emissions and use a ton of water, take up space in landfills, and produces microplastics.

Earth Gives Day! 24 hours of change-making! Giving closes midnight PST.

By October 27 (awaiting confirmation) - Earth Gives Day Donation Distribution 1

Please review the Terms of Service. The first donation distribution will be completed by October 27th.  (Terms are being updated for 2025)

TBD - Virtual Earth Gives Day Celebration

Thank you Reception and Prize Fund Celebration - a virtual gathering for all nonprofits, those that end up atop the leaderboards for Prize dollars, thank yous, George Basch Earth Champion Award announcement and special guest surprises.

November 17 - GivingTuesday Fundraisers Open

Nonprofits participating in GivingTuesday are approved and published and can now accept Fundraising pages for GivingTuesday and Green Giving!

By November 20 (awaiting confirmation) - Earth Gives Day Donation Distribution 2

The final distribution will include any late donations, Green Them All funds, Prize Funds and matches received through Earth Gives Day. 

December 2 - GivingTuesday!

GivingTuesday has welcomed Earth Gives Day to be part of its community of generosity. Earth Gives Day participants on earthgives.org will be automatically eligible to accept donations on GivingTuesday and end-of-year giving.
