Cat Tales Wildlife Center

About this Organization

For over three decades, Cat Tales Wildlife Center has provided second chances to wildlife with no other options-animals that were orphaned, injured, relinquished from the pet trade, retired from entertainment, or confiscated from unsafe conditions. More than 100 animals have found permanent sanctuary here, from native bobcats and black bears to exotic tigers, lynx, and servals. Each receives individualized diets, medical care, enrichment, and secure habitats designed to meet their physical and behavioral needs. But our work extends far beyond rescue. As an education center, we equip students, volunteers, and visitors with knowledge, skills, and compassion to act for wildlife and the environment. Our graduates move into careers in conservation, biology, and wildlife management, spreading the lessons learned here into the wider world. By protecting individual lives and inspiring human change, Cat Tales builds a culture of respect for biodiversity-local, national, and global.
