Your donations during Earth Gives mean much more than dollars to deserving climate, climate justice and environmental nonprofits. We are building a community of "earth givers" to reach beyond the 2% of ecosystem investments.

Support and amplify your change-making engagement with a nonprofit(s) of your choosing.

Get creative! Create a Fundraiser to help support your favorite nonprofits! With a few quick steps, you'll have your own page to share with your friends and help boost fund raising for that organization. Get your friends, colleagues, company and family involved.

  • Early Giving

    Giving days often kick off with "early giving". For 2023, that begins September 11th.

    Set up your own Fundraiser for an organization that you'd like to support. Bring along your friends and family to help. Imagine the fun video, photos, and posts you could offer up to inspire your circles to become "earth givers."

    Giving is easy: You will have a choice of creating a donor account to track donations or checking out as a guest.

  • Ways to Give (eCheck, credit card, etc.)

    Giving is easy: Apply Pay and Google Pay are accepted. Credit and debit cards can be used including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Electronic checks (eChecks) using your bank account and routing number are also accepted. eChecks have a lower merchant services/transaction rate than credit/debit cards, so just FYI on this cost savings!



    Donor Advised Funds also accepted. Connect with the nonprofit that you'd like to give to with details, or reach out to connect@earthgives.org for support. Right now the process requires the check to be cut and we manually include it into the system.



    And to make sure more of your donation gets to the nonprofit of your choosing, you will be given an option to cover some of the basic processing fees that go along with making a donation. Join the more than 86% of donors who opt to cover the fees.



    If using a credit card, your charges will show up on your account as Earth Gives or EG/Neon One. It is through this platform that all donations are accepted, secured, and then passed on to the organizations of your choosing. They all receive notifications of what donations they received automatically.

  • Donation Receipts

    An e-receipt will automatically be generated from Earth Gives and emailed to the email address you provided when making your donation online. (Check your junk mail in case you don't see it.) The receipt will contain a list of all organizations you donated to and the amounts of each donation per transaction.



    If you didn't get an automated receipt for any reason, please return to the home page (EarthGives.org), scroll to the bottom of the page, and look for the special receipt search boxes to find what you need. You will need the email address you used to check out. Your receipts will be resent to you. Always be sure to check your junk or spam folders to make sure you can find the email.

  • Donation Errors?

    If you accidentally make a gift to the wrong organization or make a duplicate gift by mistake, please contact us as soon as possible to make the adjustment. After 11:59 PM, Saturday, October 14, all gifts made during the Giving Day period are considered final and non-refundable unless otherwise directed by the merchant processing company. Refunds can take 7-10 business days to process after settling.
